Have you ever seen a train that made you say WTF?? I have now. Comet IV Cab Car 5027 leads a very strange equipment movement through Newark Penn Station. This train consists of three Comet IVs, ALP-44 4428, ALP-46 4628, ALP-46 4615, and two Arrows. To begin with, when did 5027 become an oddball? Why was it leading the train? How come 4428 and 4628 had their pantographs raised, but 4615 didn’t?? The world may never know.
