That is correct. They are actually modified LACROSSE helmets. The front grill is covered with white sticky foam pads, some black foam strips for the trim, and off-the-shelf breathing filters that you find in the painting supplies section of any hardware store. True to Stromtrooper design, you can hardly see a thing in them, making it extremely difficult to hit any desired target. Needless to say these modifications probably render the helmet unfit for regulation lacrosse play.
